Michael McNulty
After obtaining his J.D from SMU law school and obtaining his CPA, Michael worked as a business and tax consultant for Arthur Young. He formed Michael McNulty Consulting in 1988, which worked with various Dallas developers Assisted in renegotiation of $450 million of debt on over 80 real estate projects in Texas, California and Florida. He then formed McNulty / Lucas with Scott Lucas in 1990 where they assisted various clients in Tennessee and Georgia in the successful workout and restructure of over $750 million in underperforming real estate loans, including, retail projects and residential land development; and condominium projects. It was during this time that Michael also developed and managed the non judicial reorganization of the real estate holdings in Arizona, California and Texas commercial and residential real estate projects in conjunction with various aspects of Herbert Hunt’s personal bankruptcy and post-bankruptcy litigations. Currently, Michael is President and Director of Managing Members for Merryvale Vineyards LLC (http://www.merryvalevineyards.com), where he oversees financial and legal aspects of a 150,000 case winery operations with $25 million in annual revenues. He is also in the Board of Directors for a large private hotel group.
